Korean Spicy Pork Strips (Yangnyeom Sauced)

The main thing in this recipe is how to make famous Korean Yangnyeom Sauce. It's a popular spicy sweet sticky sauce used in Korea for fried chicken. But instead of chicken, I amusing pork strips in here. Fell free to use fried chicken though. Let's try!

 

(Ini resep favorit keluarga untuk Yangnyeom style, yang penting dari tutorial ini adalah gimana cara bikin Yangnyeom Sauce yang lebih enak di rumah. Aku pake babi, tapi kalo kepingin ayam juga bisa, yang penting ayam di goreng dulu model AYAM GORENG TEPUNG. Yuk, bikin sama-sama!)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

- 1/2 cup of hot sauce (I am using Spring Rolls Sauce here) (1/2 cangkir saus sambal lumpia/ sambal Bangkok botolan)

- 1/4 cup of tomato sauce (1/4 cangkir saus tomat botolan)

- 1/4 teaspoon of butter (mentega)

- 1/4 teaspoon of cheyenne pepper (bubuk cabe merah besar)

- 1/4 teaspoon of paprika powder (bubuk paprika)

- 1 tablespoon of sugar (gula)

- 1/8 teaspoon of salt (garam)

- 4 tablespoon of honey (madu)

- 5 cloves of garlic (5 butir bawang putih)

- 1/2 of onion (bawang bombay)

 

Pork Strips:

- 600 grams of pork (daging babi)

- 1/2 cup of flour (124 grams) (tepung terigu untuk melumuri daging)

- 1 cup of all purpose flour (124 grams) (tepung terigu untuk adonan celup)

- 1 cup of cold water (236 ml) (air dingin)

- 1 teaspoon of salt (garam)

- 1 teaspoon of pepper (merica bubuk)

- oil for frying (minyak untuk menggoreng)

 

Steps:

 

1. In a blender, blend together all of the ingredient, except for the meat (pork). Cook the sauce in slow heat until thick for about 5-7 minutes.

Keep on stiring while cooking.

(Blender semua bahan kecuali daging, hingga lembut. Tumis bumbu halus di wajan dengan api kecil hinggal mengental kurang lebih selama 5-7 menit)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Cut the pork onto sticks and flour the surface of each cut.

(Potong memanjang daging babi dan baluri permukaannya dengan tepung.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Mix together 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of water, 1 tsp of salt, and 1 tsp of pepper together.

(Campur bersama 124 gram tepung terigu, 236 ml air, 1 sdt garam, dan 1 sdt merica bubuk hingga rata.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Dip the pork to the batter slightly, and drip the excess.

(Celup potongan daging babi bertepung kedalam adonan cair dan teteskan sisa adonan yang menempel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Fry the pork in hot oil until golden brown.

(Goreng daging di minyak panas hingga kuning keemasan.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. Take the pork out of the oil and put on paper towel.

(Angkat daging dari minyak dan tiriskan.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. Put the Yangnyeom sauce in a big bowl, and put in the pork. Mix well and serve hot!!
