Beer Chicken (Bilingual-Eng-Indo)
Wonder if you can try it at home using oven rather than grill pit? Well, it works well on me..here, share you the recipe at once!
(Teman-teman ini aku share salah satu resep eksotik khas musim panas, AYAM PANGGANG BEER. Pertama kali liat masakan ini di Korea Selatan, tapi nggak nyoba karena harganya mahal banget, dan ternyata hari ini bisa bikin sendiri di rumah pake oven. Caranya gampang dan hasilnya cantik. Yuk, cobain resep seru ini!)
Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken (1 kg) (ayam potong)
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder (bubuk bawang putih)
- 2 tablespoon of sugar (gula pasir)
- 1/2 tablespoon of salt (garam)
- 1 tablespoon of cheyenne pepper (bubuk cabe merah besar)
- 1/2 tablespoon of black pepper (bubuk merica hitam)
- 4 tablespoon of chili sauce (saus sambal)
- 2 tablespoon of honey (madu)
- 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce (saus BBQ botolan)
- 1 tin can of your fave beer (1 kaleng bir favoritmu)
Steps:
1. Preheat your oven to (375 F)
(Panaskan oven hingga 185 C)
2. On your baking tray, place baking paper and put the chicken on.
(Pada pan pemanggang, letakkan kertas baking dan ayam diatasnya.)
3. Prepare the rub dust: mix together garlic powder, sugar, salt, cheyenne pepper, and black
pepper.
(Campur bersama bubuk bawang putih, gula, garam, bubuk cabe merah besar, dan merica
hitam)
4. Rub the whole surface of the chicken with the dry rub.
(Ratakan serbuk bumbu nomor 3 di seluruh permukaan ayam.)
5. Pour out 1/2 can of your beer.
(Sisakan hanya 1/2 bir didalam kaleng bir yang akan digunakan.)
6. Sit the chicken on the beer can, with the tin can half inside the chicken . Pour one
tablespoon of the dry rub into the hollow of the chicken.
(Dudukkan ayam pada kaleng bir dengan keadaan 1/2 badan kaleng masuk dalam tubuh
ayam. Tuang 1 sendok makan serbuk bumbu tadi kedalam lubang leher ayam)
7. Bake for 75 minutes.
(Panggang selama 75 menit.)
8. Prepare the wet sauce: mix together chili sauce, honey, and BBQ sauce.
(Siapkan saus basah: campur bersama saus sambal, madu dan saus BBQ.)
9. Take out the chicken from the oven and spread the wet sauce on the whole surface of it. Bake back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
(Keluarkan ayam dari oven dan olesi seluruh permukaan nya dengan saus basah nomor 8, dan panggang kembali selama 10 minutes.)
10. Repeat the process number 9 one more time. Done!
(Ulangi proses nomor 9 sekali lagi. Selesai!)
11. Put the chicken on one large dish and take the tin can out carefully using tongs, pour the beer on it. Serve!
